Well, I am on the Keto diet now… like most of the world LOL. Although I have greatly limited my fruit servings to a couple of times per week, I still tried to stick to the recommended low-glycemic fruits whenever I had a serving. Anyway, I was trying to come up with a delicious smoothie recipe that could be my go-to on the diet and I came up with this the delicious dairy-free strawberry smoothie recipe… but, after guzzling it up, I learned that the coconut cream was high in sugar. WHOMP!
Why should the recipe go to waste, though? Perhaps one of you aren’t on Keto like me, and are dying for a healthy dairy-free smoothie recipe!
Using coconut cream takes this to another level …way sweeter than using coconut milk.
I threw in some Herbalife protein for good measure too 🙂
