It’s the first day of 2019 and one of my goals is to expand and improve our Profitable Bloggers facebook group and make it the GO TO resource for WordPress support and growth tips for bloggers. Specifically, I want to grow our group to 10,000 members by the end of the year!
To accomplish this lofty goal, we are rolling out some amazing new features to the group starting NOW!
New Features in the Profitable Bloggers Facebook Group
The Facebook Mentorship Program
In the mentorship program, Profitable Bloggers group members can connect with another group member for one-on-one learning and support. Even though we are all beginners for different blogging topics, we all have expertise to share with others.
Here’s how the program works:
You sign up, match yourself with a partner, and get helpful conversation starters each week so you get to know each other better better. It’s up to you how much time you want to spend together and what goals you want to work towards. By joining the program, you can:
- Expand your network.
- Follow the guided steps to share experiences.
- Get to know each other and work toward goals or even become accountability partners.
I am excited to see all of us build stronger relationships with each other and hope you’ll join!

Weekly WordPress Tips & Tutorials: “WordPress Wednesdays”
Since the Profitable Bloggers Facebook group is truly unique, because it is a WordPress technical support group specifically for bloggers, we thought our members can really benefit from regular education, tips and tutorials on the WordPress content management system.
Each week, on Wednesdays (in addition to our weekly Wildcard Wednesdays thread where members can share pretty much anything they want to direct traffic to), we will be sharing a tip/tutorial that you can leverage to make your blog better or streamline you tasks. Make sure you check out the first WordPress Wednesday post on January 2, 2019!
Introducing Our New Moderator: Cindy Lauderdale Moore
Cindy Lauderdale Moore of Cindy Goes Beyond has agreed to become a moderator in the group. In addition to helping with post moderation and new member requests, Cindy will be the keeper of the mentorship program moving forward, so please reach out to her in the group, if you have questions about it.
Additional Social Share Threads Every Month
Starting in January, we will add additional share thread posts throughout the month where members can link to a pin, tweet, IG post, or other social media network post that you want to share and drive engagement for. The difference for these social share threads would be members won’t share profiles or blog posts but actual social media posts that they want to get more likes/engagement/shares on. These posts will not be every week, but we will post them at least 1-2 times per month, as needed.
New Feedback Posts Bi-Weekly
Every other Friday, in addition to our weekly Friday Intros post, we will post a Friday Feedback thread dedicated to members getting feedback directly from me and the rest of the group on something like a design element, page, copy, etc. A couple of good examples would be a landing page, About page, homepage, CTA, or pin image. This first feedback post will start on January 9th.
